Hole 4

4

Although the longest par 5 on the course, in benign conditions longer hitters can reach the green in two after a good drive.

However, with out of bounds down the left and a down slope to hit your second shot from if too far back, this approach is a dangerous one and many players prefer to lay up although, hitting across the corner, the distance can be difficult to judge and thick rough awaits shots that are too long.

Small bunkers either side of the front of the green, the left hand one not being so visible, might deter players from taking on the green with their second shot.
