A long and tricky par 4. A generous fairway can deceive since any drive too far down the left side leaves a long uphill approach shot and any very long drive down the centre/left can leave a second shot over the hedge on the corner.
The subtle cross slope can lead to approach shots from the fairway moving left to right and thick rough awaits such a shot if too far right. The fairway bunker is easily reached by long hitters and leaves an approach sand shot of around 150 yards, uphill and usually into the prevailing wind. There is a bunker right front and the green is stepped so take care in checking the pin position before hitting your approach.
