This is a right dog-leg to a green running diagonally from front left to back right with a dip to the right front and a bunker between the dip and the green.
Long hitters should be aware that a long drive can bring into play the pond that lurks the other side of the ridge at around 220 yards in the centre of the fairway.
A good position off the tee is essential to take the green on in two shots, especially when the tee is back right. You should aim to be towards the left end of the ridge. Since not only is there o.o.b. all the way down the right hand side of this hole, a tee shot too far right means that the trees can impede any second shot to the green.
Deep rough also meets any wayward second shot hit too far right.
